Dr. Amin’s academic journey is marked by excellence; after achieving top positions in his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Government and Politics from Jahangirnagar University, he earned his PhD in Political Science from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His doctoral research, focusing on regulatory decision-making in liberalized telecommunications sectors, provides invaluable insights into crafting our innovative business models and sustainable strategies.
Dr. Amin’s research portfolio is extensive and directly relevant to our mission of driving a green energy and mobility revolution. His work in public policy analysis, ICT regulation, regulatory governance, and sustainable development equips us to navigate policy landscapes and address societal needs effectively. His notable publications on the socio-economic impact of the Covid-19 lockdown and food safety regulation underscore his deep understanding of pressing societal challenges. Beyond his distinguished professional life, Dr. Amin is a devoted family man. The son of Mr. Md. Showkat Ali and Ms. Ayasha Akter, he is married to Professor Dr. Shahnaz Pervin, a respected Professor at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). As a father of two daughters and one son, he cherishes family as his source of strength. Born on June 30, 1976, in a respectable Muslim family in Cumilla, Bangladesh, his international travels and experiences have enriched his perspective, enabling him to integrate global best practices into our venture.
